According to different corn products quality requirement, we usually adopt once grinding or step-by-step layering and milling method. The step-by –step layering and milling method can separate the endosperm and the bran completely. So the first problem of milling is to improve flour yield and reduce bran content.

The basic grinding principle of the grain grinding mill utilizes corn and grain processing equipment and some acting force to grind the corn and grain kernels or grits, make the endosperm separated from the bran and ground into flour. Grinding process matters a lot to the flour yield and quality. And the technological equipment and its production performance also affect the end products. The common grinding equipments are listed as follows: roller type grinding mill, impact grinding mill and so on. The basic methods for grinding: squeezing type, cutting type and striking type.

The mesh of the grain flour granularity can be adjusted between 80-200 meshes by the inner air classification device. Grain grinding mill can also prevent excessive grain flour milling. The mating water-cooling system makes the material not invarianced in processing. It can control material temperature in the processing.
