Grain Screening Equipment

Grain screening equipment is not only used in grain cleaning, but also used in classifying, by-products clearing up, leftovers treatment and end products clearing up. In grain cleaning process, grain screening equipment is mainly used to remove big and small impurities in the raw material.

Grain screening equipment basic principle:
Grain screening has the sifter in working, which has some shape and size of meshes. The sifter is the main working mechanism of grain screening equipment. Most of the grain screening equipment sifter is flat and only less of the sifter is cylinder-shaped, which is also called screen drum.
 

GRAIN SCREENING EQUIPMENT uses the granularity difference between different material for screening and utilizes proper mesh and some motion form to remove impurities or classify the raw material. After grain screening, the material left on the sifter is called overtails. The material that can pass the mesh is called screen underflow.

Grain screening equipment general conditions:
To finish impurities removing or classifying, grain screening equipment should have three basis conditions as follows:
1) The screen underflow should have sufficient contact with the sifter;
2) There has suitable shape and size of meshes;
3) Make sure that the screening material and the sifter has suitable relative movement and good automatic classifying.
